This Privacy Policy explains how RENT A KITCHEN LLC, doing business as Le Gourmet Factory (“Le Gourmet Factory,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit legourmetfactory.com (the “Site”), contact us, request information, or opt in to receive text messages from us. By using the Site or providing us your information, you agree to the practices described here.

Le Gourmet Factory is a food business incubator and shared commercial kitchen serving food entrepreneurs in the New Jersey–New York metro area. We do not sell products or process payments through this Site. Membership, kitchen access, and all payments are handled separately under a signed Member Agreement and through our third-party booking and billing platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide to us

• Contact and identity information — such as your name, email address, phone number, and business name, when you fill out a form, request our pricing guide, sign up as a member, or contact us.
• Business information — details about your food business that you choose to share, such as your product type, distribution channels, business stage, and operational needs (for example, through a member survey).
• SMS opt-in information — your mobile phone number and your consent to receive text messages, when you opt in.
• Communications — the content of messages you send us by email, form, or text.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data — such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, scroll activity, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
• Advertising identifiers — identifiers used to measure and improve our advertising, including click identifiers passed to the Site from online ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide the information or materials you request, such as our pricing guide.
• Communicate with you about membership, onboarding, and your account, including operational text messages if you have opted in.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services.
• Understand how visitors use the Site and measure the performance of our marketing and advertising.
• Maintain records in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. SMS & Text Messaging

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from Le Gourmet Factory, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent to send you text messages. We offer two types of text messages, and you choose which you receive:

• Operational messages — such as booking and reservation confirmations, kitchen access notifications, billing and payment reminders, and account updates. You opt in by checking the consent box on our membership or contact form, or during onboarding.
• Marketing messages — such as promotions, offers, events, and news about Le Gourmet Factory. Marketing texts require your separate, express written consent, collected through a dedicated marketing consent checkbox. This consent is optional and is not a condition of membership or of any purchase. If you do not check the marketing box, you will not receive marketing texts.

Message frequency varies and may be up to 15 messages per month across both message types combined.

To opt out of any LGF text messages, reply STOP to any message we send. After sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation and will not receive further messages. 4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

• Service providers — with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as our website hosting platform (Shopify), our CRM (Monday.com), our analytics provider (Google Analytics), our advertising provider (Google Ads), and our text messaging providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Le Gourmet Factory, our members, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy.

As stated in Section 3, text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes, and are shared only with the aggregators and providers that deliver the text message services.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and measure and improve our advertising. These include:

• Essential cookies — required for the Site to function and provided by our hosting platform, Shopify.
• Analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use the Site, including pages viewed and scroll activity.
• Advertising cookies — we use Google Ads to measure our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the consent options presented on the Site. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and you can manage Google ad personalization in your Google account settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

6. Your Choices & Rights

You have the following choices regarding your information:

• Access and deletion — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@legourmetfactory.com.
• SMS — reply STOP to any text message to opt out at any time.
• Email — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop receiving them.
• Cookies — manage cookies through your browser and the controls described in Section 5.

New Jersey residents and residents of other states with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to confirm whether we process their personal data, to access and delete it, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@legourmetfactory.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to respond to your inquiries, maintain our member and prospect records, and meet our legal and operational obligations — and then delete or de-identify it. SMS consent records are retained as required to demonstrate compliance with messaging regulations.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
