How credit works

One budget, your choice of kitchen

1 · Your fee becomes credit

Pay $300, receive $300 to book with. It resets fresh every billing month.

2 · Spend it anywhere

Any of our six kitchens, at that kitchen's hourly rate: $20 prep, $30 bakery, $40 hot line. Nights are 40% off, so night production stretches your credit further.

3 · No hard stop

Credit runs out mid-month? Keep booking at flex rates, 20% above the credit rate, billed the following month. Planned capacity is discounted; flex capacity costs a bit more.

As a reference: Starter's $300 books 15 hours of prep, or 10 hours of bakery, or 7 hours of hot line, day rates. Mix freely until the credit runs out.

Which plan fits

A rough guide, by bakery day-hours

Under 10 hours a month
Starter covers you, with room to flex.
10 to 18 hours
Starter with flex hours, or Builder if you like predictable bills and/or want to use the Builder benefits. The math crosses near 18 hours.
More than 18 hours
Builder pays for itself. Past 36, the same logic points to Producer.

Not sure how many hours you need? Tell us what you make and how much of it, and we'll run your production through the plan simulator, then reply with the math for all three plans. No meeting needed. If you'd rather talk it through, 15 minutes with Alison or Nick is one reply away.

Questions, answered

The fine print, in plain language

What does it take to get started?
Pick a plan, or book a tour first if you'd rather see the place. New memberships carry a one-time $250 signup fee, and onboarding includes hands-on help with the health department paperwork so you can start producing legally as fast as the process allows. From there, your first month's credit is live and you book your first hours.
Does unused credit roll over?
No. Credit resets fresh every billing month. That is what keeps the 1:1 rule possible: your fee equals your credit, every month, with no accounting maze. If you regularly have credit left over, a smaller plan probably fits better, and we'll tell you so.
What happens when my credit runs out mid-month?
You keep booking, nothing stops. Hours beyond your credit bill at flex rates, 20% above the credit rate ($24 prep, $36 bakery, $48 hot line, nights still 40% off), on your next invoice. If that happens three months in a row, upgrading saves you money and we'll reach out to say so.
How does the storage credit work?
Same 1:1 logic, separate budget. Your plan includes $100 to $300 of monthly storage credit that draws against the catalog: dry shelf $20, walk-in fridge $30, walk-in freezer $40, lockable cage $50. Anything beyond the credit bills monthly at those same prices. Storage is subject to availability and assigned in order of signup, so joining earlier means better placement. Short-term storage is live too, ask Alison.
Do I need to be a certain size to join?
No. Starter exists precisely for businesses at the beginning: farmers market bakers, caterers testing demand, packaged goods founders doing their first runs. If you outgrow it, Builder and Producer are a 15-day notice away, and the fit guide above shows where the math crosses.
Is yearly billing worth it?
Yearly takes 18% off any plan and your credit stays at full face value. And it is not a trap: if things change you can convert the remaining balance to any plan at face value, or cash out half of it. Paying by bank transfer also carries no fees at all.

Pick your plan. Start building.

Three options, one click each. Or come see the kitchens first, the tour costs nothing.
